ROCHESTER, NY (August 9, 2021) – Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce has contracted with national partner SizeUp to build a data-rich, hyperlocal business intelligence resource that will be offered to member businesses to help them hone their strategy and maximize efforts to attract customers and grow. Greater Rochester Chamber will be hosting a live public demo of SizeUp GreaterROC at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25th to introduce and demonstrate the capabilities of the innovative tool.

SizeUp GreaterROC provides powerful market research and business intelligence that is both industry specific and hyperlocal. Entrepreneurs can use the software to estimate the viability of their future or current business and test assumptions of their business plan. In addition, they can use the software to discover potential customers, find local suppliers, and optimize their marketing by targeting ideal customers.

Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Bob Duffy said, “Small businesses and entrepreneurs are the economic engine of our local economy. We are committed to supporting them with the information they need to be even more successful, especially after the hardships of COVID-19. SizeUp GreaterROC will empower our local entrepreneurs to make data-driven decisions like some of the biggest companies in the world, and to experience similar levels of success. Successful small businesses become big businesses – and Greater Rochester Chamber is proud to be able to provide resources to help make that possible.”

The software powering SizeUp GreaterROC won the 1st Place award from the United States Department of Commerce for a business app that helps American businesses be more competitive, improve their success, foster prosperity, and create more jobs.
