Paying Too Much for Harassment Prevention Training? Save with Zywave LMS!

As part of NYS’s Sexual Harassment Prevention rules, all NYS employers are required to provide annual interactive sexual harassment prevention training to employees and provide a copy of your sexual harassment prevention policy at time of training.

To assist members with compliance, Greater Rochester Chamber offers a members only training solution through Zywave that meets all the NYS requirements, provides a wide variety of other useful courses, and is affordable. Plus set up is fast and easy! We can have most clients up and running the same day. We provide the template, you provide the employee list, we upload it, then walk you through using the portal to assign training. You can even set up groups to send specific trainings to.

The Zywave Learning Management System (LMS) upgrade package provides access to NYS-compliant sexual harassment prevention training (one for employees and one for managers), as well as compliant training for other  states that require training including California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maine, and Washington, plus some  trainings are available in Spanish or are closed captioned. A certificate is provided upon successful course completion.

The best part is that this comprehensive upgrade package only costs $1.25 per employee per month based on headcount at the location interested in training (billed quarterly or annually; one year agreement required). This solution allows employers to train new hires upon hire, which helps ensure your compliance obligation has been met.

In addition, the upgrade package includes access (at no additional cost) to the full training catalog which gives you and your employees access to more than 150 training courses including cybersecurity, code of conduct, customer service, supervisor training including labor laws, OSHA/safety, workplace violence, anti-bullying, and more.  Plus, there is a custom course option that allows us to upload training courses you’ve developed internally, which allows you to track all your training courses in one place.

Many employers are paying $25 or more per employee for just the annual sexual harassment prevention training. That’s too much! To illustrate the cost difference using our Zywave LMS upgrade option, for a company with 100 employees, the Zywave investment would be $125 per month which is $1,500 per year for access to 150+ courses.  Compare that cost to a one-time sexual harassment prevention training at $25 per employee for 100 employees, which is a total cost of $2,500 for just one training course, almost double the Zywave cost.
