Innovative Field to Host 3.5-Mile Run/Walk on Thursday, May 25. Company and Hospitality Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for the 31st running of the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge® in Rochester, scheduled for Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Innovative Field.

This will be the fifth time that the 3.5-mile team run/walk will be held in Downtown Rochester, having moved from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2017. The 2020 and 2021 events were sensibly cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The May 25 starting horn will sound at 7 p.m. and company registration is availableat www.jpmorganchasecc.com. Entry fee is $38 per employee and businesses may enter a minimum team of four. Entrants will have the opportunity to register as non-binary, be appropriately identified in the Series Leaderboard, and eligible to score in a company’s mixed team results.

Last year’s Corporate Challenge was held on Tuesday, June 14 with a crowd of 2,976 entrants from 159 companies. Wegmans (204 entrants) and Paychex (119) were the two largest participating companies. The fastest teams were IDEX – Health & Science/Pulsafeeder, which earned the men’s team crown, and the University of Rochester, winners of the women’s and mixed titles. Individual champions were Scott Loforte of Popli Design Group and Trisha Byler from International Flavors and Fragrances.

Race organizers are planning on a crowd of approximately 5,000 runners and walkers this May. All will celebrate their achievement by celebrating post-race within Innovative Field and companies can choose from a wide-range of hospitality options. Rochester held its first Corporate Challenge in 1991 and is part of the eight-country, six-continent J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Series. Including its Virtual events during the pandemic in 2020-21, this will be the 47th consecutive year of operation for the Series.
