Greater Rochester Chamber releases FY2023 Enacted NYS Budget Brief

April 12, 2022

To assist our members, Greater Rochester Chamber is pleased to provide a brief on the FY2023 NYS enacted budget. While overall a mixed bag, our advocacy efforts, led by our President and CEO Bob Duffy, resulted in some meaningful wins. These include: significant healthcare and childcare funding, funding for a digital gaming tax credit, funding for shovel ready site development, small business tax relief, unprecedented investment in workforce development, tax credits for capital improvements for businesses as a result of COVID-19, the legalization of alcohol-to-go, renewed funding for the REDC’s and DRI, and several industry specific victories.
