date
April 8, 2022

Greater Rochester Chamber President and CEO Bob Duffy has released the following statement on the FY2023 NYS Budget:

“We appreciate Governor Hochul and the Legislature’s commitment in the FY2023 budget to workforce development, funding for childcare, equitable broadband expansion, and investment in economic development initiatives like the digital gaming tax credit, Regional Economic Development Councils, and shovel-ready sites. Industries that were hard hit by the pandemic like restaurants will see relief through policies including alcohol-to-go, and others by way of much-needed tax relief. Working with Governor Hochul and our legislative leaders, Greater Rochester Chamber will continue to advocate for policies that positively impact the Finger Lakes Region and push our business community forward.
