Greater Rochester Chamber is reaffirming its commitment to serving our shared region’s small business community through its new Small Business in Focus series–providing the resources, connections, and momentum to fuel small business growth.

Greater Rochester Chamber’s Small Business in Focus series is a cohesive, multifaceted approach to empowering Greater Rochester’s small business community. From marketing and sales training to connections to resources for capital growth, we’re looking at the holistic needs of our small business community. Led by local leaders in the business community who have grown organizations and expanded impact in our community, this series is a dynamic evolution of our existing small business programming into a cohesive and united program.

Here's how we're doing it:
Event Series

Quarterly events providing the need-to-know information to help you grow. 2026 topics include marketing on a budget, HR strategies & compliance, navigating grants and funding opportunities, and effective sales tactics for the small business. Each event will feature a panel discussion followed by dedicated time to build relationships and ask questions.

Interactive Q&A

 Have a specific question about how to scale your small business? Tap into our unmatched network of business leaders who have been in your shoes for advice and practical solutions. Submit questions for consideration here. To ensure maximum impact and collaborative learning, we’ll publish expert answers on a specific topic in monthly blog posts.

Small Business in Focus is designed for companies with 50 employees or fewer headquartered in the Greater Rochester nine-county region, though it is open to anyone in our community who would find it beneficial.
