East House Unveils 60th Anniversary Logo Celebrating Six Decades of Recovery and Housing in the Rochester Community
Rochester, N.Y., January 27, 2026 – East House proudly announces the unveiling of its official 60th Anniversary logo, marking six decades of empowering individuals in recovery from mental health and substance use disorders to live healthy and fulfilling lives in the community.
Founded in 1966, East House has spent the past 60 years at the forefront of recovery-oriented housing and support services. The anniversary logo symbolizes the organization’s legacy of innovation, compassion, and commitment to recovery, while looking ahead to a future rooted in growth, inclusion, and hope.
Change has been at the heart of East House programs since we first opened our doors. Our founders were concerned citizens and businesspeople who wanted a safe alternative for people leaving an institution and living in recovery in the community. East House opened the second group home in the United States and the first in New York. Today, the organization empowers more than 1,200 individuals each year through a comprehensive spectrum of housing and recovery support services.
The 60th Anniversary logo will be featured throughout 2026 across East House communications, events, and materials, serving as a visual reminder of the organization’s enduring mission and the thousands of lives impacted over the past six decades.
Additional announcements, events, and opportunities to celebrate East House’s 60th anniversary will be shared throughout the year.
