Agency 29 Adds Three New Hires, Expanding Its Superpowers in Strategy and Creativity
Rochester, New York (January 7, 2025) – Agency 29, a strategy and creative firm proudly rooted in food, beverage, and agriculture, has welcomed three new team members to its growing crew. Jenny Stockdale has joined the team as Senior Strategic Account Manager, Shawna Gormican is now the team’s Office Manager, and Matt D’Angelo has joined as Creative Director.

Jenny Stockdale steps in as Senior Strategic Account Manager after spending 9 years in marketing and communications at Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. She’s fluent in storytelling, science, and systems, and knows how to guide a project from “vague idea” to “holy smokes, that’s beautiful.” Jenny’s experience in brand strategy, marketing communications and agriculture will be an immense asset to Agency 29’s clients.
Shawna Gormican, a 2023 SUNY Fredonia graduate, joins as Office Manager. She’s bringing energy, order, and a get-it-done mindset to the team, helping keep the wheels turning while contributing to a culture that values people first. Shawna’s experience in paying attention to the details is already impacting the agency’s day-to-day operations.
Matt D’Angelo takes on the Creative Director role, bringing years of experience across top-notch agencies, branding shops, and startups. A self-declared “disciplined generalist,” Matt is a whiz at dreaming up, executing, and evaluating ideas for clients in various specialties. Matt has worked on food and beverage accounts such as Constellation Brands, Jim Beam Brands, Wegmans and other notable brands like DICK’S Sporting Goods, Ray-Ban, JetBlue and more.
