Greater Rochester Chamber Releases Statement on Veto of LLC Transparency Act
DECEMBER 19, 2025 (ROCHESTER, NY) – Greater Rochester Chamber has released the following statement today on behalf of President & CEO Bob Duffy:
“Greater Rochester Chamber appreciates Governor Hochul’s leadership and courage in vetoing this overreaching legislation. The LLC Transparency Act would significantly burden our state’s small business population, which are significant drivers of economic growth and community investment. This is an important step to take to address the regulatory climate that is driving businesses and people out of New York State, and we look forward to continued collaboration with Governor Hochul to find solutions that ease mandates and unfair requirements placed on our business community.”
