Brittany J. Schoepp-Wong Joins Bond, Schoeneck & King as Member in the Higher Education Practice Group

(New York, NY): Bond, Schoeneck & King (Bond) is pleased to announce that Brittany J. Schoepp-Wong has joined the firm as member (partner) in the New York City office, bringing over a decade of experience as in-house counsel at leading higher education institutions. Schoepp-Wong advises colleges, universities and other organizations on a broad spectrum of legal matters, offering strategic guidance on reputational, financial and compliance issues. 

 

Her distinguished career includes leadership roles at New York University, where she served as Senior Policy Advisor to the President in addition to her in-house role in the Office of General Counsel, as well as legal counsel positions at the Fashion Institute of Technology and The Pennsylvania State University. Prior to her higher education positions, Schoepp-Wong was an associate at an Am Law 100 firm and served in two federal clerkships in the Southern District of New York. Schoepp-Wong has deep expertise in civil rights, student conduct, academic affairs, campus safety and regulatory compliance matters. 

 

A frequent speaker and thought leader, she has presented at forums hosted by the U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Congress and the U.S. Navy and is an active member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA). She has also served as an adjunct faculty member at Columbia Law School, teaching legal writing and advocacy.

Schoepp-Wong earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School and holds a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She is admitted to practice in New York and in federal courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
