Statement on the Passing of Carlos Carballada
Greater Rochester Chamber has issued the following statement on the passing of Carlos Carballada, former deputy and acting mayor of Rochester:
"Greater Rochester Chamber is saddened by the passing of Carlos Carballada. Carlos was a true champion for our region, and his work set our city on a path for success. His leadership in economic and community development projects will be felt forever. As the 2017 recipient of the Greater Rochester Chamber Lifetime Achievement Award and a Rochester Business Hall of Fame honoree, his legacy will live on in our organization and in the countless others throughout Rochester that he contributed to in his various roles. On behalf of our team, our members, and our whole region, our hearts are with Carlos’ entire family."
