PITTSFORD, N.Y., May 20, 2025 — Hamilton Stern Construction is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2025. Founded as a team of two in May 2010, the company has grown into a full-service commercial construction management and general contracting firm that today employs nearly 70 people.

To celebrate the anniversary, the firm has established $150,000 in college scholarship funds and will support 15 community-service projects throughout the year. These initiatives are part of Hamilton Stern’s newly created corporate-giving program, which aims to increase its investment in — and impact on — the Finger Lakes region.

• Hamilton Stern Construction has established endowed scholarships at Alfred State, MCC and RIT to support students who are working toward higher-education degrees in civil engineering technology, construction supervision, construction management or construction engineering technology. The $150,000 donation amount includes $100,000 for RIT and $25,000 each for Alfred State and MCC in hopes to create a lasting legacy and strengthen the construction industry.
• The company is encouraging employees to volunteer or support community-service projects. Hamilton Stern will match monetary donations and provide a paid time-off day for volunteering. To date, the firm’s employees have conducted a food collection drive for Pittsford Food Cupboard and Salvation Army, organized a company fundraiser for the Seneca Park Zoo, volunteered at the YWCA, and donated in-kind services to Rochester Rotary Sunshine Camp. Employees also participated in the United Way Day of Caring on May 15th and will volunteer with Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity this summer among other activities lined up for the remainder of the year.
