Webster, N.Y. – May 14, 2025 – CDS Life Transitions is proud to announce the promotions of two visionary leaders who will help propel the organization into its next chapter of innovation and impact.

Kate Wagner Named Chief Operating Officer

Kate Wagner has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) of CDS Life Transitions, effective immediately. In this expanded role, Wagner will oversee administrative operations across the CDS Life Transitions enterprise, working in close partnership with the CEO to advance strategic initiatives, forge new partnerships, and identify growth opportunities in emerging markets.

Wagner will retain her role as Executive Director of Prime Care Coordination while assuming day-to-day operational oversight for CDS Housing, CDS Rx, Warrior Salute, Unistel, and CDS Veteran Support Services Inc.

“Kate has been a dedicated leader with a deep commitment to service, growth, and innovation,” said Andrew Sewnauth, CEO of CDS Life Transitions. “Her strategic mindset and operational expertise make her an ideal fit for this critical role.”

Wagner joined CDS Monarch as a registered nurse in 2012 and has since served in a variety of leadership roles, including Director of Nursing, Senior Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations, and most recently, Executive Vice President. She holds a Master of Health Administration from Roberts Wesleyan College and serves as Secretary of CMANY (Care Management Alliance of New York).

“I am honored and grateful for this opportunity,” said Wagner. “I am looking forward to tackling the challenges the new role presents and working to strengthen our operations to better serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Veterans, seniors, and their families.”

Damian Marinaccio Promoted to Executive Vice President of Information Technology

CDS Life Transitions also announces the promotion of Damian Marinaccio to Executive Vice President of Information Technology. In this role, Marinaccio will expand his leadership to guide the evaluation, deployment, and governance of current and emerging technologies across the organization and its affiliates.

Marinaccio will also champion employee education on technology trends, cybersecurity awareness, and the potential applications of artificial intelligence in health and human services.

“Damian’s leadership has been instrumental in modernizing our IT infrastructure and creating a culture of innovation,” said Sewnauth. “His forward-thinking approach will be crucial as we scale our data platforms and digital capabilities.”

Marinaccio joined the organization in 2018 as Director of Information Technology and was later promoted to Vice President. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology and has built high-performing teams across systems administration, data management, and user support.

“I am excited to collaborate with our Executive and Senior Leadership Teams to foster innovation that aligns with and strengthens our mission,” said Marinaccio. “Technology can be a potent tool to empower our workforce and optimize operational efficiency. I am committed to maximizing its potential within our organization.”

Both Wagner and Marinaccio will continue to report directly to the CEO of CDS Life Transitions.
