WeTheHobby, Stellar Roofing, O’Connell Electric Company lead 2026 Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 List
40th Anniversary List of Fastest-Growing, Privately-Owned Companies
NOVEMBER 5, 2026 (Rochester, NY) – Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce announced the rankings for its 2026 Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 List at an awards ceremony on Thursday, November 5th at the Floreano Convention Center, attended by over 1,800 business and community leaders from the Greater Rochester region. WeTheHobby, a multifaceted business that encompasses retail sports card sales, resale, card breaking, entertainment, and wholesale operations, earned the number one spot on the 40th annual list. Home improvement contractor Stellar Roofing and electric and utility infrastructure contractor O’Connell Electric Company rounded out the top three.
The annual Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 list, presented in collaboration with presenting sponsor ESL Federal Credit Union and accounting partner KPMG LLP, celebrates the fastest-growing, privately owned companies in the Greater Rochester nine-county region. Top 100 rankings are determined based on dollar and percentage revenue growth over a three-year period, which allows both large and small companies to compete on a level playing field. All revenue information received is kept strictly confidential.
“Congratulations to all of our 2026 Top 100 companies – from senior leadership to frontline employees, each of the 24,000 employees at these companies has contributed to this recognition, and to our broader region’s growth and vitality. Throughout economic uncertainty and changing market conditions, these companies are continuing to grow, invest in our community, and create meaningful careers for their teams,” said Bob Duffy, President & CEO, Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce. “Greater Rochester Chamber has been proud to present these awards for four decades. No matter what else has been going on in the world, we have always set aside time to come together with our neighbors, competitors, and peers to celebrate the companies driving our region’s economy. Thank you to everyone who has joined us on this journey for 40 years, including all of this year’s sponsors, guests, and partners, for making this special anniversary celebration possible. We look forward to continuing our Top 100 Awards program for decades to come!”

Companies on this year’s list employ over 24,000 individuals – more than 14,000 of whom are located here in Greater Rochester – and have recorded over $5.8 billion in combined revenues in the last fiscal year.
This year’s celebration also included a special 40th anniversary tribute to the companies that have shaped the Top 100 program over the past four decades. Since its inception in 1987, the Top 100 Awards have recognized over 5,000 unique companies, including over 200 minority-, women-, or veteran-owned companies and 70% of honorees who have been recognized multiple times. Originally presented to commemorate the Greater Rochester Chamber’s centennial, the program has evolved into one of the region’s premier business and economic growth celebrations.
Also this year, Greater Rochester Chamber recognized Faheem Masood with its first Golisano Philanthropy Award in recognition of his unwavering commitment to advancing Greater Rochester’s community vitality and investing in its future. Faheem Masood served as President & CEO of ESL Federal Credit Union from March 2016 until his retirement in April 2026. Under his leadership, ESL Federal Credit Union returned nearly $500 million to the Greater Rochester community and nearly doubled its assets from $5.0 billion to $9.8 billion.
To be eligible for the Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100, businesses must be independent, privately held, headquartered in the Greater Rochester region, and have revenue of at least $1 million in each of the three most recent fiscal years.
The nomination process for the 2027 Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 begins in February and will remain open through the end of June.
