Unistel Industries Celebrates Jeremy Place as 2026 William B. Joslin Outstanding Performance Award Recipient
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Unistel Industries celebrated longtime employee Jeremy Place on Monday, Oct. 19, 2026, as he received the 2026 William B. Joslin Outstanding Performance Award, presented annually by New York State Industries for the Disabled (NYSID). Colleagues gathered to recognize Jeremy’s dedication, growth, and positive spirit, as well as achievements that reflect both his personal success and the meaningful impact of inclusive employment.
Since joining Unistel in 2007, Jeremy has brought a positive, friendly spirit to his work each day. His enthusiasm for learning, willingness to take on new responsibilities, and dedication have made him a valued member of the Unistel team and an example to those around him.
Over the years, Jeremy has taken on many roles across Unistel’s spice production floor. His experience includes filling and labeling spice bottles, packing and sealing boxes, material handling, palletizing, sorting and stacking, and preparing finished products for shipment.
No matter the task, Jeremy remains focused and takes pride in doing his work well. His broad production knowledge and eagerness to learn and help wherever needed support the team and help ensure products are prepared accurately for customers.
“Jeremy, the enthusiasm and dedication you bring to learning new things sets an example for everyone around you. You reflect the values that make Unistel and CDS Life Transitions the strong organizations they are today,” said Andrew Sewnauth, Chief Executive Officer of CDS Life Transitions. “We are incredibly proud of your achievements and thrilled to celebrate with you.”

Jeremy is also known for his helpful nature and the pride he takes in supporting others. He is quick to ask how he can help and approaches new tasks with the same warmth and enthusiasm he brings to his coworkers each day.
Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys helping his family, especially in the family garden, and spending time with his new kitten, Dorothy.
“Jeremy loves coming to work, and it shows in everything he does. He has excellent attendance, brings a can-do attitude every day, greets his coworkers with warmth and enthusiasm, and is always quick to ask how he can help,” said Chad Williams, Director of Unistel Operations. “Jeremy, thank you for your dedication, your positive spirit, and everything you bring to Unistel each day.”
Jeremy’s recognition is a proud moment for Unistel Industries, CDS Monarch, and CDS Life Transitions—and a meaningful reflection of the dedication, growth, and sense of purpose that shape the work of the organization each day. Together, we celebrate Jeremy and extend our heartfelt gratitude to NYSID for honoring his outstanding contributions and for continuing to champion the value of meaningful, inclusive employment.
