Employer Invite: Business and Education Roundtable
Greater Rochester Chamber members and regional employers are invited to join us to help shape the future of business education. Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and the Business Education Alliance (BEA) are hosting a roundtable on upcoming workforce readiness education initiatives. As part of a national initiative led by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Public Policy Institute, and the College Board, new AP Business Principles and Personal Finance courses will launch in Fall 2026 —designed to equip students with foundational business know-how, and real-world financial skills. This effort aims to connect employers with local school districts to ensure classroom learning aligns with industry needs. This roundtable offers an opportunity to share your perspective and explore meaningful ways to engage with education partners in our region.
This roundtable will take place from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM on Thursday, June 25 at Greater Rochester Chamber offices. Light breakfast will be provided. Please RSVP to Grace Carlic by Monday, June 22 to express your interest.
This program is part of Greater Rochester Chamber's broader efforts as the regional lead for talent strategy in our community. As the primary regional convener, we bring employers, educators, and community partners together to build a connected, resilient ecosystem. We're here to help you move from short-term hiring pressure to long-term talent strategy - and co-create solutions for the future.
