Community members gathered for a night of support and generosity, raising critical funds for services to support children and families in the community.

ROCHESTER, NY – March 13, 2026 – On Saturday, March 7^th, The CAC welcomed a sold-out room of 300 guests at the new location, The Ballroom at Carey Lake, for the annual Hope Rising Gala presented by Sage Rutty. The evening brought together community stakeholders, staff, Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) members, local legislators, and dedicated supporters to celebrate a historic night.

This year’s Hope Rising Gala presented by Sage Rutty served as a significant bridge between the organization’s past and future. Founding Executive Director Mary Whittier welcomed Jeff Pier as the incoming President & CEO, marking a new chapter of leadership for the organization.

The event achieved an unprecedented milestone, raising a record-breaking $545,000 (net) to benefit children and families in our community who have endured the trauma of abuse. This incredible success was made possible through the generous support of presenting sponsor Sage Rutty, as well as Two Point Capital Management, Finger Lakes Financial Services, Inc., ITX Corp., and Cook Properties.
