Roberts Wesleyan University Opens Chick-fil-A Henrietta Satellite Location on Campus
Rochester, NY (January 30, 2026) — Roberts Wesleyan University is proud to announce the opening of New York State’s first Chick-fil-A location on a college campus. The new Chick-fil-A satellite café, owned by Chick-fil-A's Henrietta restaurant on Marketplace Drive, is now operating inside the University’s Library Cafe, bringing one of the nation’s most popular quick-service restaurant brands directly to students, faculty, staff, and visitors at Roberts Wesleyan.
University leaders and Chick-fil-A Henrietta representatives celebrated the launch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this week. As the ribbon was cut, attendees joined together in cheering the brand’s signature statement, “Eat More Chicken!”
The partnership between Chick-fil-A and Roberts Wesleyan began through conversations with Chick-fil-A Henrietta’s marketing manager Angelina DeMent, as the University explored having Chick-fil-A sponsor athletic events and operate during games and campus athletics activities.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to enhancing campus life and providing convenient and delicious dining options for our community and during athletic events,” said Bob Segave, Athletic Director at Roberts Wesleyan University. “Our students and staff are beyond excited about having Chick-fil-A on campus. It’s a great option for a quick meal between classes and also a convenient way to fuel fans during our sporting events in the Voller Athletic Center.”
The Chick-fil-A satellite cafe will be open every Monday and Wednesday from 2:30pm to 4:30pm in the University’s Library Cafe. Additional days and hours may be added based on demand and campus needs.
In addition to its Library Cafe hours, Chick-fil-A offerings will also be available during select Roberts Wesleyan athletic events.
The introduction of Chick-fil-A marks another step in Roberts Wesleyan University’s ongoing efforts to enhance student experience, expand campus amenities, and create welcoming spaces for its students, faculty and staff.
