Rochester, NY — Ernstrom & Dreste, LLP, an award-winning, boutique law firm concentrating in construction law, surety law, and complex commercial litigation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian M. Streicher as Managing Partner. Brian succeeds Todd R. Braggins, who is retiring after 32 years with the firm, including 12 years as Managing Partner.

During his tenure, Todd Braggins played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s culture, reputation, and long-term success. Under his leadership, Ernstrom & Dreste strengthened its position as a nationally recognized practice serving domestic and international clients while remaining deeply rooted in the local business community.

Brian Streicher brings extensive experience as a commercial litigator representing clients involved in commercial and construction disputes, including sureties, contractors, design-builders, property owners, construction managers, and corporations. His practice also encompasses front-end construction and corporate risk management, contract counseling, and bankruptcy proceedings.  Brian’s professional philosophy combines practical advocacy, creative problem-solving, and cost-effective solutions.

When asked about the firm’s vision and continuity among the change in leadership, Streicher commented: “When I was a child, my mother would often say: ‘Be a leader, not a follower.’  I’ve had the privilege of putting those words to action in various ways in academics, the legal profession, and volunteer activities, but never with such significance as now.  I have big shoes to fill!  Bill Ernstrom and John Dreste laid the foundation for this firm to be an industry leader.  Todd Braggins brought a personal and charismatic touch to both casework and management.  My goal is to lead E&D through the challenges of the decades to come by building upon our exceptional team with the next generation of visionary legal talent.  As a boutique firm, our commitment to our team and our culture is essential.  Through this, we will continue to deliver outstanding results for our clients, maintain our foothold as industry pioneers, and honor the legacy of those who built the firm.  I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead this effort.”
