Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester Thrives Under the Leadership of Dr. Ghislaine Radegonde-Eison
New CEO’s Strategic Vision, Dedicated Board, and Community Partnerships Drive Growth, Collaboration, and Youth Empowerment

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester is proud to recognize the first-year leadership and community impact of Dr. Ghislaine Radegonde-Eison, who has served as Chief Executive Officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester (BBBSR) since March 2025.
In less than a year, Dr. Radegonde-Eison has led BBBSR through a dynamic period of transformation and growth, advancing the organization’s mission to empower youth through mentorship, opportunity, and collaboration. Her leadership has been marked by the launch of the “Meeting with Purpose” Collaborative, a cross-sector initiative uniting community organizations and service providers to strengthen family support and youth development throughout the Greater Rochester area.
Through a new partnership with Foodlinks, BBBSR has introduced nutrition education classes and celebrated the opening of a BBBSR food pantry on November 19th, addressing critical food-insecurity challenges facing by the families of Littles.
Under Dr. Radegonde-Eison’s leadership, BBBSR’s Board of Directors—a dedicated group of community leaders—is playing a pivotal role in advancing fundraising and engagement efforts. Together, they are leading effort on a series of exciting activities, including the Bowl for Kids’ Sake on December 13th, and the highly anticipated Big Night Out Gala on March 6th, featuring Mayor Malik Evans and the DAWGS Band and that will take place at the Arbor Midtown.
Dr. Radegonde-Eison has also welcomed new staff and fostered a high-performing, mission-driven team guided by the shared belief that mentoring can change lives and strengthen communities.
