Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester Welcomes Development Strategist, Donna McLaren
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester (BBBSR) is proud to spotlight Donna McLaren, who joined the organization in October 2024 as Development Strategist.
Donna brings over 20 years of senior-level experience in fundraising, public relations, and strategic communications across the corporate and higher-education sectors, including leadership roles at Kodak, Xerox, and Roberts Wesleyan University. Her expertise in brand strategy, donor engagement, and institutional storytelling has strengthened BBBSR’s ability to connect business and community partners to its mission of igniting the power and promise of youth through mentorship.
In her role, Donna leads fundraising initiatives, donor stewardship, and CRM management, aligning development and communications strategies with BBBSR’s long-term goals for growth and sustainability. She also serves as the main contact for the highly anticipated Big Night Out gala on March 6, 2026—a premier and fun event that unites Rochester’s business and civic leaders to celebrate mentorship and expand youth opportunities across Monroe, Ontario, Wayne, and Yates counties.
Sponsorship opportunities and event partnerships are now available for businesses looking to showcase their community commitment and brand visibility. To learn more or get involved, contact Donna McLaren, Development Strategist, at dmclaren@bbbsr.org.
