United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes’ ROC the Day, the region’s annual 24-hour online giving event is back this Tuesday, December 2, 2025 (Giving Tuesday).
ROC the Day is a community-wide celebration of generosity, offering residents across the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes region the opportunity to support local nonprofits in one simple, secure online transaction.
With a catalog of more than 500 nonprofits spanning every sector — from health and human services to education, the arts, animals, and the environment — donors can easily find and support the causes that matter most to them.
Last year, the community raised $992,727 from 6,819 donations. United Way hopes to build on that momentum in 2025, as neighbors once again come together to make an impact.
