Memorial Art Gallery partners with Ganondagan to host Haudenosaunee Heritage Celebration Day
Rochester, NY, November 4, 2025—The Memorial Art Gallery (MAG) invites the community to celebrate Haudenosaunee Heritage Celebration Day on Sunday, November 16, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. This annual event is presented in collaboration with Friends of Ganondagan Program Director Jeanette Jemison (Mohawk, Snipe Clan).
Guests will enjoy free museum admission, along with live dances and demonstrations by the Allegany River Seneca Dancers, led by Bill Crouse (Seneca, Hawk Clan). The celebration also features storytelling with Ronnie Reitter (Seneca, Wolf Clan), cultural display tables, and opportunities to learn more about Haudenosaunee history and culture through interactive experiences and community engagement.
