VOA Leader Honored for Excellence in Social Services

Rochester, NY — Volunteers of America Upstate New York is proud to announce that President and CEO Dr. Junior Dillion has been named to City & State New York's Above & Beyond: Social Services list, recognizing leaders who have dedicated their careers to making New York a better, safer place through their work in the social service sector.
Under Dr. Dillion’s leadership, VOA has grown into one of Upstate New York's most expansive supportive housing providers, broadening its reach through new shelter capacity, innovative programming such as a hydroponic farm, and expansion into new communities across the region.
A champion for public policy and community collaboration, Dr. Dillion regularly engages stakeholders and policymakers to elevate issues affecting underserved populations. His commitment to growth and excellence in the field is further reflected in his selection to the Social Current 2026-2027 Executive Leadership Institute Cohort, a yearlong program helping to shape the future of the social sector.
