ROCHESTER, NY (July 21, 2026) – Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester will present Bob and Barb Duffy with its Lifetime Achievement Award on Saturday, October 24 at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester Gala. This award is being presented in recognition of Bob and Barb's unwavering commitment to advancing Greater Rochester’s community vitality and investing in its future.

Bob and Barb Duffy are lifelong Rochesterians who have shared 41 years of marriage, building a life centered around family, community, and a deep commitment to the place they have always called home. Together, they are the proud parents of two daughters and grandparents of three grandchildren.

Throughout their lives, both Bob and Barb have remained actively involved in the Greater Rochester community, generously giving their time, leadership, and support to numerous organizations and causes. Bob has been a dedicated public servant throughout his long career, and while Barb may never have expected the public life that came along with it, she has embraced it with grace and a commitment to serving others in her own right.

Through every chapter of their lives together, the Rochester community has remained at the heart of their story and a place they are both deeply proud to call home.

"Bob and Barb Duffy have spent decades leading with purpose, generosity, and an unwavering belief in the potential of our community. Their impact can be seen not only in the organizations they've supported, but in the countless lives they've helped shape through their leadership and service. We are honored to recognize them with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester's Lifetime Achievement Award and celebrate a legacy that continues to inspire future generations to give back and lead with heart." — Dwayne Mahoney, Executive Director, Boys & Girls Club of Rochester

“We are truly honored to receive this recognition from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester. Rochester has always been our home, and throughout our lives together, we have been fortunate to be part of a community that means so much to us and our family. We have always believed in the importance of giving back and creating opportunities for the next generation, which makes this honor especially meaningful. We are deeply grateful to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester for this recognition and for all they do to support young people and families throughout our community.” — Bob and Barb Duffy

Bob and Barb Duffy will be the 9th recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by the Boys & Girls Club of Rochester to leaders in our region who have an unwavering commitment to the greater Rochester area.
