G. Thomas Curran, Jr. Elected to Highland Park Conservancy Board of Directors

Rochester, New York, July 20, 2026 – Underberg & Kessler LLP is pleased to announce that G. Thomas Curran, Jr., Senior Counsel in the Litigation practice group, has been elected to the Highland Park Conservancy Board of Directors.
Highland Park Conservancy, founded in 1994, is a member-supported, all-volunteer organization and the official not-for-profit partner of Monroe County for the stewardship of Highland Park. The mission of the 501(c)(3) organization is to advocate for and participate in the preservation, restoration, and enhancement of the entire Highland Park with its world-class arboretum, its historic Olmstead design, and other amenities by increasing the public's appreciation for and active engagement with its absolute uniqueness.
Tom helps individuals, businesses, professional service providers, health care providers, and municipalities with complex disputes, contract negotiations, and legal strategy. He has extensive experience in litigation, commercial contracting, and advising on high-stakes legal matters, including multi-million-dollar lawsuits involving complex construction and engineering issues, bankruptcy matters, breaches of contract, and other disputes.
Before joining Underberg & Kessler, Tom held a senior legal role with a large, global, publicly traded architecture, engineering, and consulting company, where he was responsible for managing litigation and professional liability claims, professional services agreements, and risk management. He earned his B.S., magna cum laude, from SUNY Brockport and his J.D., cum laude, from Western Michigan University, Cooley Law School.
Tom is a member of the Monroe County Bar Association and serves on its Health and Wellbeing Committee and Ethics Committee. He is a member of the Rochester Engineering Society and is a volunteer attorney for JustCause.
