Zywave – Practical HR Tools That Save Time and Money
We announced back in January that we were able to refresh our partnership with Zywave to continue offering their valuable options to members and at lower pricing for the Handbook Builder and Learning Management System (LMS). So now, members can purchase one, two, or all three options to meet their needs:
Option 1: HR Content and Tools - includes their HR Hotline (new live assistance, similar to our HR Helpline!), salary tool, job description builder, performance appraisal builder, total compensation statement builder, enrollment booklet builder, ACA reporting tool, state and federal labor law comparison tool, compliance poster builder, timely articles on changing labor laws and general HR topics, sample documents, and more! These tools are a great complement to your existing Greater Rochester Chamber HR Helpline service!
Option 2: Employee Handbook Builder – An easy-to-use tool for employers interested in using an employee handbook builder that ensures not only federal but also state compliance for all 50 states. The handbook can be customized to reflect your culture, add your own policies, etc. Each policy is labeled as either recommended or required by state or federal law. As laws change, the handbook template is updated by Zywave and users are notified so they can view the current and proposed policy side by side and choose whether to apply the changes. Once the handbook is done, simply download and share with employees along with the handbook acknowledgement which should be signed by employees and placed in their file. It is also recommended to provide employees with a list of policies anytime they are updated. Note: please ensure your employment law attorney reviews any new policies you wish to add, so that the full handbook meets compliance requirements.
Option 3: Learning Management System (LMS) - includes a NYS-compliant sexual harassment prevention course, with one specific to managers and the other for employees. In addition, there are required trainings for other states, plus more than 150 courses on communication, safety, diversity, manager success, and more. Custom course content can be uploaded for employee access as well at no additional cost. Employee lists can be easily uploaded and grouped (ex. employee and manager or hourly and salaried, or by department, etc.) to make course assignment fast and easy. Reporting allows you to see at a glance who has completed courses and who may need further reminders.
