New Supervision Training Course Launched!
After many years of delivering our Successful Supervision course, popular trainer, Pat Piles, is taking a hiatus to focus on his health. Understanding the need to continue offering training for this important group of leaders, we are excited to announce that Karen Shed and Ed Peet, co-owners of Clearpath HR Solutions, will be stepping in to fill the gap with a completely new course called: Supervision Essentials: A Pathway to Leadership. This comprehensive course that takes place over 4 information-packed half-day sessions will cover the essentials that every supervisor needs to ensure success, including such topics as the transitioning from peer to supervisor, goal-setting and decision making, performance management and feedback, managing conflict and corrective action, managing different generations, and more.
The new series will take place in person at the Greater Rochester Chamber offices on the following dates: June 23, 25, 30 and July 2. It will run from 8:30am-12:30pm. View the full course description here or visit our event page here to view pricing and register.
Supervisors play a critical role in shaping the work environment and organizational culture while directly influencing employee productivity, engagement, and retention. There’s a common saying: employees don’t leave companies, they leave supervisors. That’s why investing in supervisor training is not a luxury; it’s a strategic necessity. Don’t leave their success to chance. Ensure supervisors receive the training and support they need from the start. And for those who have been in supervisory roles for years without formal training, it’s never too late to strengthen existing skills, fill knowledge gaps, and equip them for continued success which benefits both the supervisor and the business.
