SWBR Adds Several New Team Members

SWBR is proud to announce the addition of several new team members.

Ben Collins, AIA, joins SWBR as Project Manager. Collins is responsible for managing higher education and K12 projects through every phase, from design through construction completion. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University.

Interior Designer Anna Fumich is responsible for space planning, finishes, and lighting selections on a variety of project types. Fumich received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina Greensboro.

Structural Engineer Tucker Kelly is responsible for designing and detailing structural systems for a variety of housing, education, and workplace projects. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Civil Engineering Manager Becky Maier, PE, oversees all aspects of the group, including site engineering and stormwater design, team development, client relationships, and project team coordination. She earned her BSE in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Project Designer Sumaiya Mehjabeen is responsible for design, production drawings, client meeting preparations, daylight modeling, and sustainability consulting on a variety of K12, higher education, and housing projects. Mehjabeen, part of the firm’s Syracuse team, has a Bachelor of Architecture from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology and a Master of Science in Architecture from Pennsylvania State University.

Amy Platteter, SWBR’s new Administrative Assistant, is responsible for preparing and finalizing proposals and AIA documentation, insurance certificates, and optimizing administrative procedures. She received her Bachelor of Science in Applied Arts & Sciences with Concentrations in Information Technology and Legal Studies from Rochester Institute of Technology.

SWBR’s new Marketing Coordinator Caitlin Sosa is responsible for proposal creation in all market sectors and business development activities, including trade shows, event coordination, and market research. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications from SUNY Brockport.
