RochesterWorks and the City of Rochester Offering In-Person Documentation Drop-Off Dates for SOOP/SYEP Programs

February 19, 2024

RochesterWorks and the City of Rochester will be teaming up on select Saturdays during the months of February, March, and April to provide in-person required document collection opportunities for applicants to the summer 2024 SOOP/SYEP programs. Required documents include a Work Permit, Social Security Card, Application Signature Report, Valid Photo Identification issued by a government agency (Driver's License, DMV non-driver I.D., School I.D.), and Most Recent Official Report Card (screenshots and progress reports are not accepted). These documents need to be submitted in addition to the official SOOP/SYEP application which can be found here:

Saturday, February 17, 2024
Saturday, March 9, 2024
Saturday, April 6, 2024
11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Loretta C. Scott Center for Human Services
57 St. Paul Street
Rochester, NY 14604

The goal of the in-person document collection events is to provide applicants to the SOOP/SYEP programs who may not have access to a computer or who’d prefer to submit their documents in person the opportunity to hand in their completed documents rather than submit them online. Bringing copies of the required documents for submission is highly recommended. For more information about SOOP/SYEP and the application process, please see or CityofRochester.Gov/SOOP.
