Last year, we were “Dancing in Denim” at the 2023 Goodwill Gala! This year, we are “Elevating Community. Empowering Connections.” The 2024 Goodwill Gala, presented by Smola Consulting, takes place on Saturday, March 9th from 6pm to 10pm at the Hyatt Regency Rochester.
At Gala, we will celebrate the success of our community programs and services, focusing on 211/LIFE LINE, a go-to, 24/7 free resource that connects community members with a wide range of human services and resources. Your support is crucial in making a difference in the lives of those we serve, and every dollar raised at Gala directly supports Goodwill's programs and services like 211/LIFE LINE.
This year’s Gala honorees include Kevin Lynch, President & CEO of National Industries for the Blind (NIB), recipient of the Dr. Gwen Stern's Visionary Award, and Dr. April Aycock, the Monroe County Office of Mental Health Director and President/CEO of Awareness Counseling Services, recipient of the distinguished Good Neighbor Award.
Along with Goodwill of the Finger Lakes elevating the community, sustainability is a big theme at Gala. We encourage our guests to avoid buying new clothes and either wear what is already in their closet or thrift their Gala attire. The Gala is a great place to show off your sustainable style!
