Bob Duffy’s Statement on the Inauguration of Kathy Hochul
Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Bob Duffy has released the following statement on the inauguration of Kathy Hochul as the 57th Governor of New York State:
"It was an honor to have a front row seat to history this afternoon as Kathy Hochul was sworn in as the first woman to be elected Governor of New York State. Governor Hochul's understanding of and appreciation for Upstate New York and the Finger Lakes region continues to prove beneficial as we have seen important investments in economic development, urban revitalization, and workforce readiness.
I look forward to continuing to work with Governor Hochul and her administration on their goals to promote economic growth and prosperity, to make our neighborhoods and communities safer, and to close the talent-gap faced across myriad industries.
