ComTec Solutions Announces Acquisition of RAM Software Systems
This investment will expand customer operations to the Southwest.
ROCHESTER, NEW YORK—July 12, 2022—ComTec Solutions, LLC, a leading Epicor Platinum Partner and enterprise resource planning (ERP), IT managed services (MSP) and cybersecurity provider based in Rochester, New York, announces the acquisition of RAM Software Systems, a Richardson, Texas-headquartered business consultancy focused on helping small and midsize manufacturers and distributors maximize long-term business growth. The purchase will allow for the expansion of ComTec’s operations throughout the Southwest.
In business for over 40 years, RAM Software Systems is a certified ERP value chain specialist, empowering small and midmarket manufacturers and distributors with Epicor and other expert software solutions. ComTec’s acquisition will create opportunities for RAM’s customers to access a deeper bench of services, including consulting and technical expertise with a geo-growth advantage, concentrated on small and midsize businesses.

The acquisition is part of a 10-year growth plan set by ComTec, with plans to hire 10 new employees by the end of 2022 for its growing services. RAM also brings 30 Epicor clients of its own, all of which ComTec will now serve while helping to onboard new ones and offering more resources tailored to IT-related needs and modernization of their operations.
