“It’s a Wonderful Life in the South Wedge” Festival to be held December 4
A vibrant festival, that gives a small town feel, in the heart of the city is “It’s a Wonderful Life” in the South Wedge. Held on December 4th 11am to 4pm only. It features Handmade and Unique holiday gifts for the unique people in your life.
Visit the vibrant South Wedge city neighborhood, showcasing our commercial district, and offering the best in local entertainment, vendors, food and drink. The event will be FREE to the public. In 2019, over 4000 people attended. “It’s a Wonderful Life in the South Wedge” has been in existence for twelve years and has become another great annual event to round out Rochester’s many eclectic art, music, and entertainment festivals.
Children’s activities will include an Angel Get’s it’s Wings activity, Christmas tree ornament and stocking decorating. There will be holiday themed games that appeal to all ages. Rochester’s favorite food trucks will be on hand in addition to the South Wedge’s finest eateries, many featuring holiday food and drink specials. There will be four musical groups, Matt Weasner on bagpipes, Resonanz providing seasonal carols, The Flower City Pride Band with holiday favorites, and The Buddhahood with their unique music stylings. Local businesses will provide the backdrop with special sales during the event.
