Dress For Success to Launch Mobile Boutique & Career Center
Expanding its footprint to the 9-County Finger Lakes Region
Rochester, NY - Dress for Success Rochester (DFSR) realizes its vision of bringing critical career coaching services that help women in the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes region, secure meaningful and sustainable employment. Those who experience barriers to services at the DFSR downtown Rochester location, will now have access in the communities where they live.
New Executive Director, Bivette Stodghill, and DFS Rochester’s Founder, Alyssa Whitfield, will formally launch the program at a ribbon cutting ceremony on October 21, 2021. The DFSR Express Mobile Boutique & Career Center is the culmination of thousands of hours of volunteer time, and hundreds of thousands of dollars of in-kind donations and financial support primarily from local women owned or women led businesses. We are grateful for the support we have received so far, however additional funding is needed to ensure women throughout the county can. Dress for Success is looking.
Organizations serving women in a variety of ways throughout the Finger Lakes region, will be able to schedule an on-site visit where DFSR Express will deliver the same personalized career counseling and interview-outfitting consultations they provide in their physical boutique.
