24 Hours. Hundreds of Nonprofits. Endless Impact – ROC the Day Returns December 1
Guest post on behalf of Greater Rochester Chamber United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes
United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes’ ROC the Day, the region’s annual 24-hour online giving event is back this Tuesday, December 1, 2026 (Giving Tuesday).
ROC the Day is a community-wide celebration of generosity, offering residents across the Greater Rochester and Finger Lakes region the opportunity to support local nonprofits in one simple, secure online transaction.
With a catalog of more than 500 nonprofits spanning every sector — from health and human services to education, the arts, animals, and the environment — donors can easily find and support the causes that matter most to them.
Last year, the community raised $938,138. United Way hopes to build on that momentum in 2026, as neighbors once again come together to make an impact.
