Goodwill of the Finger Lakes Announces Dave Aust as New Chief Financial Officer
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is pleased to announce the appointment of Dave Aust as its new chief financial officer, a key leadership role focused on strengthening and advancing the organization’s financial strategy and operational excellence.
In his role at Goodwill, Aust will oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and organizational operations to support long-term sustainability, growth and mission impact. He will also provide leadership for the organization’s IT, real estate and risk management teams. As a member of the executive leadership team, Aust will play a key role in advancing strategic priorities, driving operational excellence and ensuring continued strong fiscal stewardship across the organization.

Aust brings more than 20 years of financial leadership experience, having led teams in both private and public companies across the aerospace and defense, clean energy, technology and retail sectors. With a strong background in strategic planning, financial operations and organizational growth, Aust has held senior leadership roles at GreenSpark Solar, Horizon Solutions and L3Harris, where he led initiatives focused on long-term financial sustainability.
His appointment comes at a time of continued growth and opportunity for the organization.
