Ironwood Heavy Highway LLC & Terry Tree Service LLC Announce Leadership Transition
June 3, 2026 – Ironwood Heavy Highway LLC and Terry Tree Service, LLC today announced the retirement of Tim Pope from his role as Chief Executive Officer, effective May 31, 2026. Tim will continue to serve the organization as a member of the Board of Directors.
Tim co-founded Terry Tree Service, LLC in 1995 and later helped establish Ironwood Heavy Highway LLC in 2003. During his leadership, the organization grew from a small operation into a family of companies employing more than 450 team members and serving customers throughout the region.
"Tim's vision, leadership, and dedication have been instrumental in building Ironwood into the organization it is today," said Alan Menkes, Chairman of the Board. "We are grateful for his many contributions and pleased that he will continue to provide guidance as a member of our Board of Directors."
The company also announced the promotion of Jamie Newtown to President of Ironwood Heavy Highway LLC and Terry Tree Service, LLC, effective June 1, 2026.
Jamie joined Ironwood in September 2023 as Director of Compliance & Risk, where he led significant improvements in safety, compliance, and risk management. He was subsequently promoted to Vice President, Operations, where he oversaw operational initiatives across the organization and supported key business process improvements.
Jamie brings extensive business knowledge, strategic planning expertise, leadership experience, and a strong commitment to operational excellence to his new role as President.
As President, Jamie will lead the company's operations and strategic initiatives while continuing to build upon the strong foundation established over the past three decades and positioning the organization for continued growth and success.
