Held at the Hyatt Regency Rochester, this two-day event seeks to help attendees understand how climate change impacts our health and explore equitable climate solutions to create a healthier, more equitable future for the Genesee-Finger Lakes region.

Organized by the Climate Solutions Accelerator, this event will bring together organizational leaders and community members to develop a shared understanding of how climate change impacts our health and what we can do about it. With a diverse lineup of speakers and interactive workshops, including keynote presentations from Cecelia Sorensen, M.D. Director, Global Consortium on Climate and Health Education, Columbia University, and Wade Norwood, CEO, Common Ground Health, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with healthcare professionals and equity advocates in the local climate movement.

On day one leaders and representatives of organizations, businesses, and government are invited to join us to focus on the impacts of climate change on our health, including air and water quality, food systems, and mental health. Day two is open to the general public and will dive into the opportunities for positive change, such as sustainable healthcare, secure and healthy food systems, clean energy access, green transportation, and other equitable systems-level solutions. Attendees will also have the chance to participate in breakout sessions and networking opportunities to connect with others who are passionate about creating a healthier, more equitable future for our region.

"We are excited to bring together leaders and community members to discuss the critical intersections of climate change, health, and equity," said Abby McHugh-Grifa, Executive Director at Climate Solutions Accelerator. "The Summit isn't merely about raising awareness; it's a call to action, a proactive space for discovering and crafting solutions that foster environmental health and community well-being. Our aim is to ignite a spark in attendees, empowering them to become catalysts for change within their organizations and communities.
