Connect to Success in 2024: Member-to-Member Discounts and 5 other ways to meet new Greater Rochester Chamber members
As we kick off 2024, it is the perfect time to be thinking about how to form new relationships and connect with new customers to level up your business this year. Part of Greater Rochester Chamber’s mission is to facilitate connectivity, foster the growth of professional networks, and create opportunities for collaboration among fellow members. That's because we know when Chamber members get together, great things happen. Some of the many opportunities we have coming up to help connect our members are below, creating great opportunities for success in 2024:
1. Submit a Member-to-Member Discount
We encourage our members, whenever possible, to do business with other members. Attract new customers by offering a special discount on the products or services your business offers. Discounts are hosted on a dedicated section of our website which will create additional exposure for your business on the Greater Rochester Chamber’s website at no cost to you! Offers must contain at least a 10% discount off goods/services, and free consultations do not apply. For more information, please see here.
To submit a discount for other members, please email Chamber@GreaterRochesterChamber.com with details describing the discount, the discount expiration date, and a contact email.
2. Member Advertising
Greater Rochester Chamber’s full network of over 18,000 business leaders is available for our members to connect with. Our advertising products cater to businesses of all sizes and industries. Choose from a variety of products to help meet your business goals and spread your message across platforms. 3. Chamber CONNECT
Join us for a Chamber CONNECT webinar, where you’ll get 90 seconds to tell attendees about yourself, your organization, your networking goals, etc. After the event, participants will receive a list of names and contact info for those in attendance to help facilitate future connectivity. We host these events throughout the year, so check out our Upcoming Events calendar to find one or more to register for, including our first Chamber CONNECT of the year on January 16th!
4. In-Person Networking Events & Vendor Tables
If you’re looking to connect offline, we also offer a variety of in-person networking events to help you meet other members. Our Business Made Social series takes members to fun and exciting venues across #GreaterROC throughout the year with a relaxed, casual environment to meet fellow Greater Rochester Chamber members.
Our Signature Events offer sponsorship opportunities that come with the opportunity to host a vendor table at these events that draw hundreds of attendees. 5. Community Calendar Submissions
If you’re having events of your own, make sure to add them to our Community Calendar so all of our members have a place to see additional ways to connect with fellow members across the region and support their efforts. Posting on the calendar is free for member businesses and local non-profits.
6. Member News Submissions
We want to help tell your story! If your organization has any exciting news, be sure to let us know by emailing your press releases to Chamber@GreaterRochesterChamber.com. We will share them on our website as Member News and in our weekly Voice of Business newsletter.
