DICK’S House of Sport to Host Fundraiser for Local Rochester Organization, Hockey Buddies, on Friday, December 15
In partnership with the RIT Men’s and Women’s Hockey teams, DICK’S House of Sport is hosting a fundraising event on Friday, December 15 to benefit Hockey Buddies, a nonprofit organization supporting youth participation in the sport. Hockey Buddies will also be collecting gently-used hockey equipment on-site where a silent auction raffle will follow.
The event includes:
- 3v3 exhibition games with RIT Men’s and Women’s Hockey teams
- Open skate with a player
- Plus, take photos with RIT's mascot, RITchie the Tiger!
Open Skate is available to players 6 years and older. Tickets are $10/participant and skate rentals are $6/participant.

WHEN: Friday, December 15
- 6:00 pm: Women's 3v3 Game (FREE to spectate)
- 6:45 pm: Men's 3v3 Game (FREE to spectate)
- 7:15 pm: Skate with a Player ($10 per participant, includes skate rental)
