The Arc of Monroe’s Community Arts Connection Art Show Opening Set for Thursday, December 7

The CAC Singers will Help Kick-off the Event.

ROCHESTER, NY - The Arc of Monroe’s Community Arts Connection (CAC) Day Program’s Annual Art Show will kick off with an opening reception at the Barnes & Noble in Pittsford Plaza, 3349 Monroe Avenue, Rochester, on Thursday, December 7 from noon to 1 pm.

The opening reception will feature the CAC Singers performing, as well as a variety of art pieces featuring acrylic, watercolor & oil paintings, fiber arts, drawings, photography, sculpture, mixed media, and ceramics.

    Art Show runs through Friday, December 29.

The Arc’s Community Arts Connection day service program gives people with intellectual and developmental disabilities opportunities to learn new skills, build lasting friendships and give back to their community. CAC provides a diverse array of offerings in the arts that encourages creativity and self-expression. Activities include a dance troupe, community-based musical group, and classes in the visual, fiber and literary arts.
