Fleet Feet Rochester Named One of Best Running Stores in America for 2023
ROCHESTER, NY, November 30, 2023— Fleet Feet Rochester, a local specialty running retailer with 2 locations in Rochester Region (Culver Road Armory and 237 High Street in Victor), was recognized as one of the 2023 Best Running Stores in America by leading trade and vendor running community at The Running Event closing banquet on November 30th in Austin, TX. The Running Event is a running specialty tradeshow for running retailers, vendors and event producers.
Fleet Feet took its place among the country’s elite retailers following an extensive nomination and review process. The nomination process began early in the Winter of 2023 with local communities nominating their favorite shops. This was followed by a rigorous evaluation process, including runner nominations, mystery shopping to assess customer service, credit ratings from vendors, and assessments about local programs and community involvement.
Out of over 12,500 nominations received and approximately 500 unique stores being nominated across the country and 100 stores being secret shopped; this award was narrowed down to about 60 stores, of which Fleet Feet Rochester was one of them. This award exemplifies the best in Run Specialty with talent, devotion and community as the building blocks. This is Fleet Feet Rochester’s 7th time being recognized with this Running Industry award.
