Ice Rink at DICK’S House of Sport to Return for Another Season
This holiday season, DICK’S House of Sport at The Eastview Mall will again open its Ice Rink to the Greater Rochester community for winter fun and memories. The open-air outdoor rink will open Friday, November 17th and operate through February 25th, 2024.
For the third year, The Rink will offer open skate, learn to skate, a Men’s 3v3 hockey league and more. And, new this season:
- Glow Skate: Fridays, beginning Friday, November 17
- Skate with a Princess: Saturday, January 20, 2024
- Rent the Tent. Add a heated tent during open skate!
Measuring 60-feet long x 100-feet wide, patrons will be able to partake in ice activities throughout the season. The rink is available for rentals throughout the season for private ice time, community events and birthday parties, team hockey practice and more.
During open ice skate sessions, patrons (13 years and older) can skate for $10, and under 12 years can skate for $8. Skate trainers are complimentary and available first-come-first serve. For all events and open skate, skate rentals are also available to everyone for an additional $6 fee per skater.
DICK’S House of Sport also offers Sparx™, an ice skate sharpening service that provides consistent sharpening for pro-level results, offered at $10 per pair of hockey or figure skates. This service is complimentary with any skate purchase made in-store.

Open Skate Times:
- Thursdays: 4 pm-8 pm
- Fridays: 4 pm-8 pm (except Black Friday, 11 am-8 pm)
- Saturdays: 12 pm-6 pm
- Sundays: 12 pm-4 pm
